Ricardo Macedo

Ricardo Macedo, graduated in Applied Languages and Master in Marketing and Strategy, from the University of Minho, was CEO at Shairat until December 2016. It was in 2017 that he and André Jordão created Barkyn. Barkyn is a Portuguese start-up dedicated to canine nutrition and health, which customizes food and guarantees close, human and remote veterinary assistance, having recently received an international distinction. The highlight is the company's innovation in the pet market. Since then, it has quadrupled its team, developed a portfolio with more than 30 products of its own, from feed formulas to snacks and supplements.
